As a young girl, Yasmin was forced to give up football because there were no safe, welcoming spaces for girls like her to play. What should have been a joyful part of her childhood was taken away too soon. But Yasmin refused to let that be the end of her story.

Years later, driven by grit, resilience, and a deep love for the game, she trained as a coach and began creating the very opportunities she never had. Today, she is building more than just teams, she is creating safe, empowering spaces and beautiful communities where girls and women, especially from marginalised backgrounds, can belong, grow, and thrive through football.
